2018 RACES 

Prize Presentation – Tuesday 23rd October 2018

All the jerseys and trophies have arrived and been engraved so we are ready for our delayed presentation. Leeds Mercury are kindly giving up their session at the Boddington Cycle Circuit in Leeds for us to hold it.

We can ride the cycle circuit from 7pm until 7.45pm so you can all bring your bikes and then we will hold our presentation upstairs from 7.45 until 8.30. We unfortunately can’t run roller racing as the centre are not able to allow us that option.

As we run as a not for profit organisation, we don’t have a lot of money each year so we are asking for donations of food (savoury and sweet) for the evening.

This year there will also be a limited amount of WRTL jerseys (kids to adults) for sale at a cost of £30 each so please let Mandy know if you are interested.

Results calculationsEach week riders are awarded points based on the top 4 finishing positions in each race. The final results have been calculated based on the best 7 points out of the 9 race weeks. Weightings have been applied to groups each week with groups 1 and 2 riders having additional races and therefore extra opportunities to gain points.

To validate the final standings the results have been sorted and riders ranked in a number of different ways.

based on best 7 points,

best 7 with group weighing applied,

best 7 based on race group.

The average position for each rider has then been calculated and this is the final position.

In all but the U10 boys where there is now a joint 3rd place these results are exactly the same as for the unweighted points.

Pre Enter Only Closing date 11th July 2017. Riders must be BC members and hold a full racing licence.
